It’s common for retailers to create listings based on games they assume that will be released in the near future. With this being said, Amazon Italy has created a new listing for EA’s Unravel 2 for Nintendo Switch. What’s interesting about this listing is how a year ago, Coldwood Interactive released a statement to GamesIndustry, acknowledging the desire for Unravel 2 to be ported for Nintendo Switch.
According to the statement made by Jakob Marklund, Lead Programmer and Co-Founder of Coldwood Interactive:
We really wanted to be able to release this week, but if we had to do a Switch port it would have taken another half a year or so.”
It’s possible that work has been done on a port for the game, however, listings as such could suggest that it may or may not be coming, until its officially announced. We’ll be sure to follow-up as more information becomes available.
