For a while now, there have many speculations of specific Legendaries Pokémon appearing in Pokémon GO many of which have already appeared including one that many have been anticipating for a while now, Mewtwo.

Mewtwo is the newest Legendary to grace Pokémon GO but there’s a catch (see what I did there), Mewtwo is only available in Japan for now due to the Pokémon GO Stadium event in Yokohama Japan.

Niantic to celebrate brought out Mewtwo to the event as a Raid Boss however they’re currently no plans in bringing it to other regions, at least for now. For those who defeat the Legendary Mewtwo during Raid Battles will obtain 50 Premiere balls for a chance at catching it with a high possibility of  obtaining one for those who are physically there.

Hopefully we’ll see Mewtwo be distributed in more Pokémon GO themed events in the coming months. Let us know what your thoughts are about the Legendary Mewtwo appearing in-game?
