We’ve wrapped up yet another edition of the The Game Awards, and several of Nintendo’s biggest hits were on display this year.

Breath of the Wild took Game of the Year and several other prominent awards, but it’s not the only Nintendo title to walk away with a win. Super Mario Odyssey found nominations in many of the same categories as Breath of the Wild itself. In the end, everyone’s favorite plumber took home the award for “Best Family Game.”

Mario+Rabbids Kindgom Battle, Nintendo’s crossover hit with Ubisoft, landed the “Best Strategy Game” award. The game also lost out on “Best Family Game” to Odyssey itself.

In addition to all the Switch attention this year, the 3DS’s Metroid: Samus Returns claimed the “Best Handheld Game” spot, beating out several other Nintendo greats for the honor.

Nintendo had some exciting announcements for fans in addition to it’s honors. Check out our coverage of the Switch Bayonetta reveal and Breath of the Wild DLC.
