In SEGA’s latest earnings report, the company mentioned that their latest 3D Sonic game, Sonic Forces, performed “Strongly”. At this time no official numbers have been released regarding how many copies were sold, but based on the fact that Sonic Forces was released on almost every current generation console, we can assume that they had sold a ton of copies.
Forces was also released during the Holiday season and retailed at the time at $40, cheaper than most AAA developed games. Although concrete numbers are not quite available, we expect them to drop soon and once they do, we will have those numbers right here.
