During a panel at C2E2, Funimation announced that they’re developing a FunimationNow app for Nintendo Switch. For those who’re unfamiliar with FunimationNow, it’s a monthly subscription service which allows users to watch ad-free anime shows featuring fan-favorite series with new updated shows, hours after their showings in Japan.

English-dubbed and English subtitle episodes are available for those who prefer to stream it that way. The monthly subscription is billed at $5.99 for those who are interested in acquiring a subscription once it launches on Switch.

We’ll be on the lookout for an official release date. For all things, Nintendo, stay tuned to NinMobileNews!
