Nintendo has previously announced that the Nintendo Switch Online Service would launch later this September for customers who own a Nintendo Switch system. Today, Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch Online service will launch in the second half of September.

The service provides access to online play & Save Data Cloud backup in compatible games and a growing library of NES titles with added online play. The online service will be available in individual membership including a family membership which a Nintendo Account holder may invite up to seven others to join a family group (Price: $34.99).
