Last month, dataminers have reported that a new update for the Nintendo Switch Online app has included new lines of strings. These new strings of code included the mention of SNES titles, varying from Super Mario Kart, Super Soccer, The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, among others.

According to dataminers, the latest update for the Nintendo Switch Online app has removed these strings and it’s unclear as to why they were added in the first place. Could it be that Nintendo is working on a future SNES collection for the Nintendo Switch Online service? Is this something that could be announced during today’s Nintendo Direct? We’ll have to wait to find out!

We’ll be sure to follow-up as more information becomes available. Let us know in the comments what your thoughts are on this? For all things Nintendo, stay tuned to NinMobileNews.
