Imran Khan, Senior Editor for Game Informer is reporting that Nintendo has “been long done” with the rumored Metroid Prime Trilogy for Nintendo Switch.

He’s also shared some information which he’s heard about the current state of the Trilogy’s development, saying Nintendo was supposed to announce the collection last month, however, it’s unknown why it wasn’t.

Our guess could be either because Nintendo wants to announce the Trilogy either at or before E3. Khan mentions that it could be possible due to today’s announcement but is unsure whether Metroid Prime 4’s delay “adjusts their schedule a bit.”

Khan also mentions that Nintendo may have more Metroid “stuff” in the works. Exciting to see if this comes to past so we’ll be sure to follow-up if there’s an official announcement. For all things, Nintendo, stay tuned to NinMobileNews!
