The God Eater series is known for being available in portable handheld systems including the PSP and PS Vita, however, never on a Nintendo platform.

In an interview with IGN, as translated by Nintendo Everything, when asked about the possibility of bringing God Eater on Nintendo Switch? God Eater producer Yusuke Tomizawa mentioned that he’s taken into account people’s requests for the game to be available in a portable system including those on Nintendo Switch.

Mr. Tomizawa understands the demand for games to be available on portable handhelds as not everyone is able to play their games on a TV when they’re home. This could be either because they don’t have access to one, family members are watching TV and they’d rather not interrupt, etc:

“After the announcement, we heard a lot of people saying that they wanted God Eater on portable systems. As I mentioned earlier, God Eater 3 exists on the PS4/PC in the way that it does because we prioritized brushing up the quality. I feel like it’s necessary for us to listen to what the users have to say, including those on the Nintendo Switch.”

“There are plenty of people who can’t use their TVs to play games when they’re at home, and we consistently have requests from those people come in. So, we’re cognizant of it to be sure.”

It would be fantastic if this could be a possibility, considering the God Eater series has a huge following and it would be a great introduction to Nintendo fans who’ve never experienced any of the God Eater games.
