With every Nintendo release, it’s expected that most of their games will be amiibo compatible in some capacity. With that being said, Yoshi’s Crafted World has been confirmed to be amiibo compatible, unlocking outfits for those who scan previously released Super Mario Bros. and Yoshi’s Wooly World amiibo.
Courtesy of Nintendo Wire, we’ve included a list which outlines which amiibo will unlock special outfits in Yoshi’s Crafted World:
- Mario (SSB, Dr. Mario SSB, SMB, SMB Gold Version, SMO, 30th Anniversary Classic Version, 30th Anniversary Modern Version)
- Peach (SSB, SMB, SMO)
- Yoshi (SSB, SMB, YWW Green, YWW Pink, YWW Blue, YWW Mega Yarn Yoshi)
- Luigi (SSB, SMB)
- Bowser (SSB, SMB, SMO)
- Poochy
- Koopa Troopa
Scanning other amiibo will unlock a “common” outfit which is yet to be shown, however, exciting news for amiibo collectors who wish to cosplay and disguise their Yoshi with popular Super Mario Bros. characters.
