Yacht Club Games has shared an update regarding the physical edition for Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, Shovel Knight: King of Cards, Shovel Knight Showdown, and the Treasure Trove amiibo 3-pack, all now delayed from its April 9th release date.

According to Yacht Club Games, this will be the last delay for these games including the physical edition and amiibo, “It remains our focus to bring these to the highest level of quality just as we have with previous Shovel Knight games. It’s also our priority to have these games on the disc/card for the upcoming physical version.” Understandably, Yacht Club Games prefers to work and polish these releases before they’re released and they aim to launch everything together once it’s all ready for retail.

Yacht Club Games estimates that this delay can last several months– at most and they’ve promised to not announce an official release date until everything has been polished on their end. In addition to future announcements, Yacht Club Games plans to share updates on these games and assures fans that this delay isn’t major in any way considering that they’re currently finalizing all their work including with their two games on localization, testing, and platform tuning.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated once more information is available. Be sure to check out Yacht Club Games’ official post on their website by clicking here. Let us know what your thoughts are on this delay in the comments below! For all things Nintendo, stay tuned to NinMobileNews!
