SEGA Ages: Alex Kidd in Miracle World is launching on February 21st in Japan for 925 yen for Nintendo Switch.

SEGA has confirmed new features to this game including Ages Mode, which offers the original soundtrack, while adding support for FM Sound Unit background music. Additionally the “Continue” feature after getting a “Game Over”  has been simplified, rewind gameplay up to five seconds, making it easier for players who might not be good at action games.

New artwork has also been added at the start of important stages, including the Sukopako Motorcycle theme, “phantom background music” which was recorded for the soundtrack, however, was never used in the game. Ages Mode aims to be the original game in its complete form.

A western release for SEGA Ages: Alex Kidd in Miracle World is yet to be confirmed, however, we’ll be sure to follow-up once it’s officially been announced.
