During the Nintendo Spotlight, Tsunekazu Ishihara, President and CEO of The Pokémon Company mentioned that a “core” RPG Pokémon title is in the works for Nintendo Switch.
As mentioned in the Spotlight, this upcoming Pokémon RPG title won’t be seen this year. As rumors and speculations have been going around, the code name for this upcoming Pokémon game is Pokémon Stars, as reported by Eurogamer.
Today, Amazon UK has listed Pokémon Stars for Nintendo Switch and is available for pre-order right now, spotted by the Nintendo Reddit community. This isn’t the first time a retailer has jumped on the hype train on an iconic series such as Pokémon and created a placeholder, but it does bring up many questions as to why this was posted.
